Alessandro Crimi, from the National Research Council of Italy, went on secondment to Shaping Cloud, a software house located in Manchester. Alessandro has combined his previous onsite experience on strategic decision planning and modeling, gained during his first PRoSFeT secondment at Bradford City Council, with the software design and development expertise secured by the Shaping Cloud team. The aim is to design the software architecture for a web-oriented Spatial DSS addressing the needs for strategic decision support for location problems arising in the field of urban freight transport.
